 | | | Real name / | David Maguire | | Aliases / | 1/2 of Generic Audio Djs | Since the moment he spun his first record at 14 Dumbfunk has been hooked on DJ-ing. This led him to GIROS Belfast for monthly techno events which regularly hosted Dave the drummer, Chris liberator, etc.
He also attended weekly events held by SHINE in Belfast regular guests were Dave Clarke, DJ Rush, Carl Cox etc. These nights have all influenced Dumbfunk's own particular DJ-ing style.
At the age of 19 Dumbfunk moved to Berlin were he lived for 2 years.This is where his sound was really developed as he trooped around the numerous clubs; Berghain, Panorama Bar, Watergate and experienced the different styles they have to offer
