Edgar Jack is the pseudonym of Berlin based artist, Benjamin Zulauf. Hailing from three countries no less (Switzerland, England and Australia), he is in some ways a true man of international mystery..

His curiosity with music began very simply with a Juno 106 synthesizer and Roland MC303 back in 1999. It was during this time that he also began clubbing and collecting vinyl, buying new and used EPs, often spending an entire day shifting through 2nd hand record stores and gear shops.

Since then he has been steadily working in the studio and building up his skills, drawing in influences from techno, electronica, house and dubstep. His productions have been supported from the scenes best, including Laurent Garnier, Peace Division, Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Magda, Craig Richards, Luke Solomon, Dubfire, Paco Osuna, Monika Kruse, Bloody Marry, Konrad Black and Luciano.

In 2010 he launched his own label, Hummingbird.
