Edo Rinaldi is an Italian house music producer and DJ born in Modena, Italy. He has held residences at many popular dance clubs in his area such as Cocorico’, Echoes, Folies de Pigalle and many more. Edo Rinaldi is also growing as a producer, his first release “Waikiki!”, that it's been released on Autist Records from Berlin, is entered in Beatport’s Techno Top 100 Download Chart. Edo Rinaldi originally gained interest in the music scene around the age of 16, listening to non-commercial house music radio station on the web and mixing with his first turntables. Beginning at age 17, Edo Rinaldi staged a series of parties with his friends, named SUPSTA’S PARTY in most underground places of his city area. After several parties, the event began to regularly attract over 300 people and eventually earned Edo Rinaldi appearances at proper clubs. He started to play in Snoopy club with his friend and club-owner Nicola Z., growing his experience mixing differents genres, from funky, deep and vocal house, to tech-house and techno, and continuosly specializing his mixing techniques. Actually Edo Rinaldi describes his style of house music to be "undergorund" and “dark”. Though he's often named as a tech-house DJ, Edo Rinaldi prefers not to fall under any particular genre. His music sometimes has elements of 1990s funky house and tech-house, and sometimes of minimal and techno.Of the music Edo Rinaldi plays, he perform his own edited versions. Rather than any particular genre or musical groups, Edo says that his brand of dark house is influenced more by "vices" and life experiences. He does, however, claim his biggest inspirations as Michael Jackson and Depeche Mode, citing their dark lyrics and atmosphere. The DJ most influential on him is Sven Vath, he admires his passion and dedication to DJ-ing and clubbers.
