Ed Pulido has steadily been rising in the ranks and he has established himself as a crowd favorite, highly requested and a respected name in the DJ scene in New York City. His sets are full of energy, groovy and dirty bass lines, and sexy vocals. Pulido has a unique sound where he combines elements of Techno, Tech House, House, Minimal, and even Tribal House to craft his own sound, always keeping a high energy level where the crowd keeps on dancing. He has a loyal following throughout the NY, NJ and Connecticut areas. In most of his sets, Ed handles three to four decks to create his own blend of sounds and rhythms with tech elements, warm percussion, and solid techno bass lines through his own collection of loops, samples and acapellas.
2011 was a breakthrough year that saw Pulido start the year internationally returning to play in Colombia performing in the Summer Festival parties in Cartagena and later at Lago Calima’s Ultra Lake Festival. Back in the US, Ed played at all of the important rooms and festivals in NYC, including the main rooms at Pacha NY, District 36, GLO Nightclub, Phuket NY, Webster Hall, Dream (Hamptons), Black & White Festival plus many more venues.
Ed also returned during 2011 to play in Atlantic City at Harrah’s Pool & Resort and at the Winter Music Conference in Miami along with the biggest names in the industry, including Steve Lawler’s VIVa Music party. Two of his highlights in 2011 were opening for techno legend Speedy J and playing the closing set for international star Gary Beck at District 36. Ed also played a few times at Pacha NY’s main floor opening for his buddies Chus & Ceballos. Ed also shared the stage in 2011 with Boris, Victor Calderone, Cristian Arango, Chriss Vargas, Mindcontrol, Calvin Harris, Hector Couto, Patrick M, Joy Kitikonti, Alex Young, Kristian Klein, Jonathan Peters, plus many more.
Ed also continued with his theme party “Sex Ed Series” derived from his popular “Sex Ed Series Podcast”, having a lot of success at different venues including System Dance Club in 2011. For the first Sex Ed party of 2012, Ed is headlining at the famous Cielo Night Club in New York City in January presented by NY-based record label Nervous Records.

Throughout his career, Ed has shared the stage with Deadmau5, Steve Angello, Afrojack, Speedy J, Christian Smith, Funkagenda, Gary Beck, Carlos Lio, Richie Santana, Peter Bailey aka Mindcontrol, Saeed Younan, Chus & Ceballos, DJ Vibe, Oscar G, Calvin Harris, Hector Couto, Cristian Arango, Chriss Vargas, Patrick M, Joy Kitikonti, Alex Young, Kristian Klein, Jonathan Peters, Cevin Fisher, Ralph Falcon, plus many many more.
Ed has played numerous times in his native Colombia headlining shows at La Kasa and at Angels in Medellin and playing at the White Party III with Boris and Victor Calderone at Carnival also in Medellin in 2010. Ed has also played in Cartagena during the Summer Festival in 2011 and at the Ultra Lake Festival at Lago Calima also in 2011. Ed has been playing at the Winter Music Conference in Miami every year since 2009. Ed will also be representing NY in 2012 in Miami for WMC in March and at the Black & White Festival in Colombia in August.
