Enzo Siragusa is a DJ leading the charge to put London back at the forefront of the electronic music scene. His Sunday afternoon FUSE party at 93 Feet East has converted a new generation of clubbers - and a few huge name DJs - to the joys of his deep, dubby house and techno sound.

After a decade of DJ-ing and a couple of lost summers in Ibiza Enzo turned to the UK's capital and played around with various venues before settling on 93 Feet East in 2008 to launch an all day rave every Sunday. Focusing on a type of music rather than the name of the DJ, hypnotic grooving extended sets were the order of the afterhour, promotion was word of mouth, entrance was guestlist only, and the response was swift.
Enzo explains...”the sound we play is so much deeper and dubbier than you'd get in a night-time club, we've educated the crowd to the stage where we can play almost anything in there...we can go deep....and it will still go off. And the end of the day I'm a raver... I know how I would want to feel on that dancefloor, and feel the music. That's the most important part of a party!”

Going back to Ibiza was the obvious next step, with a big proportion of the FUSE faithful in tow, bringing the sound to DC10, Ushuaia and Sankeys. His gigs across Europe have spread the FUSIC sound far and wide but Enzo's heart will always belong to Brick Lane, partly due to his almost fanatical obsession with sound.

“I've basically taken apart the sound system at 93 and rebuilt it, we tried and tested many systems, until we found the right one that perfectly suits the type of music that we play there. With our D&B Audiotechnik sound system you can feel every beat and tone, and it has that warmth in the low end to deliver our basslines… I installed the old sound system as my monitors in the booth… it's an amazing experience playing there”

Recent guests would certainly agree, Enzo and his close knit group of residents at FUSE have entertained the likes of tINI, Davide Squillace and Loco Dice to name but a very few. Dice was so impressed he chose Enzo to represent London in the UK leg of his recent Under 300 tour.

Straight off the dancefloor itself, Enzo has now nurtured a collective of hot young DJs and producers all dedicated to the FUSE cause, with his Fuse London label and agency as a platform for his crew. With productions passing the test on the dancefloor his sound and label have been making subtle waves via the viral network.
