Erich Bogatzky was born and raised in Berlin where he became fascinated by electronic music from its early beginnings. Inspired by the city's uncomparable drive in the 90s and its legendary clubs like Tresor, E-Werk and WMF he started DJing in 1995.
Today he counts numerous cities on his booking map: Berlin, Beirut, Sao Paulo, Moscow, London, Paris, Milan, Nicosia, Geneva, Lisbon, Krasnodar, Nice, Lausanne, Cologne, Sochi etc., having played along-side artists like Booka Shade, M.A.N.D.Y., Hell, Ewan Pearson, Patrick Chardronnet, Tiefschwarz and many more.
After more than ten years of DJing Erich Bogatzky founded the label «minimood» in 2007 with his friend volt.mar, a minimal label featuring artists like Rick Wade, Mark Henning, Sascha Dive, Gregorythme, Digitaline, Seuil, Someone Else, Daso and others.
The label’s debut release “Green Chocolate” by Fusiphorm was a huge success which hit clubbers at peaktime worldwide. Koljah’s “Exploding cake Remix” was charted in the tops of Troy Pierce, Sebo K, Pan-Pot,, Italoboyz, Martin Eyerer and many more. The first release turned into a classic and instantly brought several license requests to the label including one from Ivan Smagghe.
In 2011 he founded his new label Agora Audio which "launched with some fanfare" (RA) with an amazing EP by Lula Circus including a Doomwork remix in January 2012.
His first own EP "Murex" on DIEB AUDIO received an overwhelming feedback across the globe:

His second strike, a remix he did for Ziggy Kinder with his partner volt.mar on MINIMOOD EXTRA, also received great reactions from Mr. G, Alex Flitsch, Nicole Moudaber, Dubfire, Mathias Vogt (Motorcitysoul), Dario Zenker, Gunjah, Terry Francis, Patrice Bäumel, Annie Errez, Emerson, Jennifer Cardini, Oliver Klein, Joachim Spieth, Dave Angel, Matthias Schaffhäuser...
Another remix for Modul from Russia appeared on Cosmic Cowboy's and ReUp's label KINA MUSIC receiving great early feedback from Marco Carola, Phonogenic, Mathias Mesteno, Franco Bianco, Andrew Grant, Paolo Olarte, Florian Meindl, Echonimist, Maik Loewen, Adriano Filippucci, Clio&Popov, Fog, Yokoo, Moonbootica and many more.
Rick Wade's "Creeper" EP on minimood extra with a Bogatzky&volt.mar remix was featured as "Record of the Month" in DJ Mag .
