F.E.X, started his career in a small techno club (L’Ilnox) in Tours, back in 1994. At the same time he opens a record shop and hosts a weekly show, to play new releases ranging from House to Techno, on a local radio station.
In 1998, he settles down in Paris and quickly becomes the resident Dj of some of the biggest and Mythic parisian parties : « House of Legend », « Diskotek » « Club BPM » at the famous club L’enfer, and « Scream » at L’Elysée Montmartre....
He releases his first productions with his friend DJ Phantom, include Indie Walk wich
was « the French Techno Parade’s hymn » in 2002, with more than 50 000 sales, with a video clip and selected in about 50 compilations.
But nothing has changed his identity, playing a style of House between Minimal and Techno, sensual and mysterious, always choosing the originality rather than easy work, taking risks with each of his dj- sets as his production wich built his reputation of big talent.
He signes his production on prestigious labels such as : Serial, Brique Rouge, Hypnotic, Dessous, Visitor, Gourmet, Systematic, Dance Electric, Kling Klong, Great Stuff…
His new label Robotronic, founded in 2005, is one of the best french label at the moment with productions and remixes from Marc Romboy, Djinxx, Alexander Maier, Kolombo, Butch, Okain, Nikitin Semikashev and F.E.X himself and many more to come… gaining respect from the major Djs worldwild.
F.E.X continues playing with his laptop and the digital system, FinalScratch, all over the country and he’s, as well, touring the globe, just to name a few : Anvers; Bangkok ; Singapore ;Hong-Kong ; Shanghai; Istanbul, Ibiza, NYC, Miami, Skoppje, Gent, London, Berlin, Munich, Genève, St Petersbourg, Kiev, Marrakech, Almaty, Moscow…
Lately he signed on Saved’s Nic Fanciulli label, another release on Robotronic and some remixes for Global Underground, and appears on Cocorico 03 Ivan Smaghe compilation.
Now he’s working on a compilation of the greatest track of Robotronic Recordings, released January 2009…
