His inspiration sources started with rock music, including: alternative rock, heavy metal, progressive and psychedelic rock which still influences him till today. Dream Theater, Tool, Porcupine Tree and Blackfield had a big effect on Firas’s musical life.
Musical instruments were familiar in Firas’s hands. By the age of fourteen guitars started to reflect the true spirit of his style. He composed his own music and played alone or with bands.
