Born and raised in the blue collar Detroit enclave of Hamtramck, Franki Juncaj was bombarded by multicultural influence from a very early age. As the son of Albanian immigrants in the Motor City, Juncaj was being exposed to both the sounds and traditions of his parent's old world experience as well as the timeless sounds of Motown and the city's musically forward thinking attitude.
