2012 will bring us a lot new music by Franklin De Costa. For the Tokyo based label Mule Musiq is an EP billed for spring 2012 feat 3 original De Costa tracks. His second EP for the infamous New York Pomoter ReSolute will mark their 5th Release. There will be a track featured on the various artists 12" on Argumento. A great upcoming quality label from Macedonia. Fellow artists on this ep will be Ryo Murakami who´s also a label mate from Curle Belgium and mighty Bearweasel from UK.
Also finished is a 2 Track ep for the fresh Berlin label Nsyde run by Richard Zepezauer. The label has earned a lot praise so far with releases by Daso and Kevin Reynolds.
For the ever growing Greta Cottage Workshop comes another vinyl only release as follow up to his highly acclaimed limited 10" under the Mudkid moniker.

Franklin De Costa is someone we've been following since his first releases on Trapez LTD. We still believe 'Kronn' on Curle014, Franklin's debut for Curle, is one of the strongest tracks we've released so far on the label. This 'Fragile EP' gives again a great taste of Franklin's qualities as a producer. Whereas the title track is definitely the one on here with the biggest peaktime dancefloor potential, the three other tracks show Franklin's firm talent and diversity in crafting organic deep house tracks that step out of the ordinary. Truly a special EP.

auch mit diesem Release bleiben alle Münder wieder offen stehen. Ist
«Clocked» noch ein unscheinbares Minimaltech-Teil, dass funktionell und
ohne große Ausreister von Anfang bis Ende durchzieht, hat man mit dem
namensgebenden Track der EP dann den Sechser im Lotto.
«Prokrastinator» heißt das Dingens und wartet in
drei Versionen auf. Während Jonas Knopp und Franklin des Costa mit
ihren Interpretationen eher funky bleiben, ist es das Original, welches
die Tanzfläche zum Kochen bringt und beweist, dass man – wie schon so
oft angemerkt – mit wenig viel erreichen kann. Denn Sounds wurden an
sich gar nicht viel verbaut: Dicke Bassline, Bassdrum, Hats und Snares.
fertig ist der Lack. Darauf rhythmisch ein kalt-wuchtiger und deeper
Synth-Stab und fertig ist das Monster. Sehr schön.
