Gennaro Mastrantonio approaches the world of music at the age of 11 when he starts playing the flute. A few years later, he discovers a passion for electronic music, focusing on house and techno. At the age of 18, he decides to move to Milan to attend the School of Audio Engineering and further his technical knowhow professionally.

Influenced by the minimal techno movement, in 2006 he begins producing professionally, achieving excellent results in a very short time. He immediately has an impact on international sales and charts thanks to a sound already defined by impressive and innovative rhythmic grooves, ranging between the hypnotic and the psychedelic.

Gennaro begins his DJ career in Milan at some of the city’s most exclusive clubs and events. In 2008, he also plays at the Italo Business Festival near Ferrara. From here, he sets out on a mini world tour, playing in Germany, Bulgaria, Mexico and Colombia and enjoying tremendous success.

In 2009 he starts a collaboration with American Billy Johnston, a move which gives a fresh impetus to his work. This leads him to the DJ console at the WMC in Miami, in one of the city’s most famous clubs, NOCTURNAL! He also plays at Miami’s Tangia Club alongside Alexi Delano, Tony Rohr and Perc Hans Bouffmyhre for the showcase of labels Sleaze Records & Perc Trax.

Many of Gennaro’s productions have climbed high in the most important charts of the world’s major music distributors. In addition, he has earned a place in the TOP TENs of renowned DJs like Claude VonStroke, Umek, John Acquaviva, Richie Hawtin, Pan-Pot, Sian and many others.

In 2010, a remix of the track ‘’DotBomb’’ by JOHN ACQUAVIVA climbs to second place in the TOP SELLERS of Beatport (www.beatport.com), staying there for several weeks.
Also in 2010, Gennaro begins working with Apparel Music, a highly respected international label, created to provide an outlet for house, deep house and tech house. Thanks to this collaboration, Gennaro enters the world of house jazz, deep house and tech house.

Gennaro has under his belt a huge number of collaborations with some of the biggest labels in the world, including BluFin, 1605, Apparel Music, Racon Light, Italo Business, Eminor, Der Hut, MyLittleDog, Perc Trax, Sleaze, Suara and Mystika.
