Par Wax presents its sixth release as a vinyl only project. This deeply personal record is perhaps the climax of George Paar's and Yuji Kondo's relationship as artists which started approximately two years ago. This record has brought together two artists responsible for the direction of their own label collectives with a particular and intimate vision of electronic music.

"Life Is Not Dead Yet" is an homage to life in itself. It is dedicated to all those individuals that continue their lives even if struck by misfortune and grief.
"Life Is Not Dead Yet" is an homage to life in itself. It is dedicated to all those individuals that continue their lives even if struck by misfortune and grief. It is an intimate connection with the darker moments in life that at the end can only become the light we all strive to find. I will not go into any descriptions regarding each track as it is impossible for me to describe them due to their complexity and deeply intimate messages. They are what they are, produced somewhere between Uruguay and Italy. Nevertheless, I will like to take also this opportunity to thank Giorgio Gigli, who has undoubtedly believed in this project and has dedicated his time and knowledge to steer this record into where it deserves to be.
The first track is reminiscent of a military drum ritual dating back to the middle ages in which drums were used to create a melody that would call the soldiers on their feet at dawn. The second original track is a destroyer with intermittent drum patters and analogue bass lines that will leave nothing unaltered. Conrad Van Orton's takes us deep into the eery world that lies beneath us. Patrick Krieger's interpretation is a magical dance floor track with eminent eloquence.
Support from Electric Indigo, Giorgio Gigli, DVS1, Inigo Kennedy, TEA, Henning Baer, NX1, Perc, Deepbass, Ness, Max_M, Exium, Korova, Nax_Acid, Angel Costa, Mark Morris, Anderson Noise, Emanuele Pertoldi, Azterisco, Mattias Fridell, Mike Wall, D. Carbone, Roberto Figus, Adriana Lopez, MTD, Urbano, Tracy, VSK, Future 16, Analogue People and more.
As the title suggest "Angulos Ligeramente Ocultos" is a record that is as a whole a work that carefully reflects the artist's most secret and intimate relation to techno. Hidden angles, perceptions, emotions, intangible and tangible objects are discovered throughout the series of tracks.
Here a short news with the last George's Paar production and the PAR Recordings podcasts
PAR 13: Synthetic Variations EP out on Par Recordings with track from George Paar, Keep On, Modes, Onval:
This project was based around a single analog synth line created by George Paar using an Access Virus Synth. Each artist used the exact same synth line to create his own musical interpretation. The original synth line was commissioned to be used for an audiovisual presentation done by Jonathan Mangelinckx, at one of the most important modern art museums in Brussels. Artists involved in this project are Onval, Keep On, Modes and George Paar truly.
and next coming PAR Wax 02: George Paar, Damien Schneider, m_Patcher
Second installment for Par Wax. This time the series continues with label manager George Paar delivering two original tracks destined for the underground techno arena. Molecula 5312 is a track in itself the source for this record. The number sequence used in the title of this track represent's the combination a cyclist uses to obtain a hard cadence. Thus this track delivers a cadence that is continuous and solid just like two pistons delivering force evenly. Damien Schneider's remix is a track that has an intricate groove that will make an instant bond with the listener and destroy any intelligent dance floor to pieces. Espectroscopia the second original track in this record flirts with the astros, the unknown space that is above us. Lastly m_Patcher's edit is a unique piece of music directed to the experimental minimal and somewhat the unexpected. Truly a track that flirts with strokes of sonic waves. The rest is for you to listen and judge with your own ears. Preview. Including remix by Damien Scheneider + edit by m_Patcher. Out December 13th Vinyl and Digital.
