Inspired by a trip to the shores of East Sussex with his young daughter, with 'Rock Pool' Glimpse aims to portray a feeling of discovery and gentle excitement, the wonderful sense of seeing something for the first time. The track contains field recordings that were taken by the beach and many of the textures and rhythms were inspired by the sounds of the deserted coastline that day.
'Rock Pool' demonstrates a new front on Glimpse productions which, upon hearing, can be understood to be sounds for the soul rather than the dancefloor.
