The next guest on Heidi's monthly
In New DJs We Trust show on Radio 1 is the super talented Mr.
Jamie Jones.
Having previously released on Crosstown Rebels, Freak N Chic, Poker Flat, Cocoon and Get Physical, Jamie launched a new project with LA-based Lee Foss called
Hot Natured which has seen two releases so far on Droog's Culprit label. Jamie was named Best British Producer of 2009 by DJ Mag, as well as receiving Best Single for 'Summertime' in the same year.
His latest remix of Tom Demac's 'Crewcuts & Curls' on murmur is in the top of Heidi's charts (as with many past Jamie Jones productions and remixes), and she'll be chatting with him about other current and upcoming projects, hoping to get unreleased tracks out of him, as well as just trying to figure out what makes him one of the nicest and most talented guys in dance music.
You can catch Jamie playing regularly at the best clubs in the world including
DC10 and
Space in Ibiza this summer.
