The BUTT BIAS mixtape is a limited to 500 cassette tape which features never before released demos, b-sides, and DJ Tools from names like Matmos, Prosumer & Murat Tepeli, Justus Kohncke, Massamiliano Pagliara, and Discodromo to name a few. A small amount will be available online through the Honey Soundsystem website to those who cannot attend the launch.
It’s time to dust off your boombox and break out your walkman. BUTT Magazine and the popular ‘queer DJ collective’ Honey Soundsystem have collaborated on a limited edition mixtape to be given out at Honey Sundays, their weekly party in San Francisco, California. The mixtape features many music-making homos our readers will know from the magazine as well as acts who have performed at previous BUTT parties. Honey Soundsystem has crafted an exclusive mix from a number of previously unreleased tracks, including some of their and our favorite artists.
A limited number of copies will be available after the party through Honey Soundsystem’s website.

The compilation entitled "Brotherhood" features tracks from an underground network of dance music producers from all over the world. From 1983 to 2010, the release spans a cross-section of dance-music from the artists like Discodromo, Rodion & Hugo Sanchez, and Filthy Luka (Horse Meat Disco).

From 1983 to 2010, the release spans a cross-section of dance-music from the artists like Discodromo, Rodion & Hugo Sanchez, and Filthy Luka (Horse Meat Disco). The release also features three original tracks from Honey Soundsystem's Jason Kendig, Robot Hustle, and Pee Play giving just a taste of the releases to come from the crew in the coming months.
