In January of 2009 he did his first gig live in Newcastle Upon Tyne at Bar Beyond, and from that moment he knew this is what he wanted to do – 2 and a half years on from that milestone he had now secured sets on the same nights and alongside Kerri Chandler, John Dahlback, Wolfgang Gartner, Chris Lake, Kissy Sellout, Menno De Jong, Jason Herd and more, playing these gigs at some of the top clubs in the UK, including Sankeys, Stinkyspeephouse and Gatecrasher.

In such a short space of time this is a huge achievement, but Jacky sees this as only the beginning and is constantly setting himself new targets, and with the spirited attitude to DJing and music paid off when he was given the opportunity to play for great guys at Digital Society M.Y.O in Ibiza @ Bar Viva in the Summer of 2009, and since then has made another appearance back at Viva in 2010 and 2011.

Since Jack's arrival back to the UK after his Ibiza blowout last year, he was been given a residency for a newly formed North East based night called 'Evil Circus' - A freaky UK imitation of the infamous Ibiza airplane hangar 'DC-10'. From this platform he continued to power through onto the scene, gaining gigs all over the shop, including Manchester, Nottingham, Coventry, London and even going international in Andorra and Marbella.

Not long after his return from playing a couple of gigs on the Costa Del Sol in 2011 he has decided to start his own night off called 'Cliché'. It's a new concept event exclusive to Newcastle (at the moment..) which is basically like 'a workers party for DJs' - All the resident DJ's from locally based nights get down all together and have a big fat party - no strings. With cheap entry, drinks promotions and a sick new venue, 'No 28', Jacky looks to do something new in the city and is certainly looking promising.

This is surely just the beginning, as he has decided to give up the 9-5 and started his music production degree in 2010. There is no doubt you can soon expect to hear some of his own tracks being thrown out in the near future…
