James' experience and versatility as a DJ has taken him from the main room in Fabric, to illegal Metro parties in Budapest, to early morning afterhours in LA, playing alongside everyone from Pepe Bradock, to Michael Mayer, to Richie Hawtin. He's known for running the infamous DividedByDirt parties in Hebden Bridge, events that quickly achieved cult notoriety and, as well as being revered by the UK press (Jockey Slut, DJ Mag, Muzik and The Guardian all rated them amongst the best in the UK), boasted heavyweight fans such as Craig Richards, Paul Daley and Andrew Weatherall for whom the parties still stand as some of their favourite events.
