A composer, musician, DJ ,sound designer, physicist, and owner of ONO Records and sublabel ONOBOTS, Jan Pienkowski writes and performs music reflecting his diverse background. From his Electroacoustic, guitar and piano training combined with a love of World Music and Sci-Fi comes a mixture of mechanical bleeps, acoustic spaces and ethnic themes. His theatre, film and dance experience bring a flair for the dramatic, while Jan’s affection for techno keeps his DJ sets focused around a minimal-tech sound, meandering between dark, twisting turns and floor shaking grooves.
