Starting off as a Drum’n'Bass DJ, Jay Easton has been DJing, producing music and presenting radio shows since 2004. Whilst at Uni, he ran club nights, and was resident at his student union, supporting DJs such as Shy FX, Pendulum, Nu:Tone, Utah Jazz and DJ Hype. His radio show Different Drum developed a reputation as a source of cutting edge underground music and earned him an award at The Student Radio Awards for Best Specialist Music Programme.
Since moving back to his hometown London in 2008, Jay Easton’s sound diversified to a broad spectrum of various dance music genres, and he now DJs an eclectic mix of house, techno, garage and bass music. He continues to broadcast his show, Different Drum on Shoreditch Radio and Bassweight Radio in London, and Twen FM in Berlin.
