Hi I'm Jiony... I was born in Veracruz in August 4, 1985... I moved to Mexico City a year later... Since I was a child I was very attracted to sounds and of course... music. I was always making sounds with whatever I had in my hands, trying to make some new rhythms. At that time I dind't knew that was going to help me in a future to make music... At the age of 15, I found a sotware named Fruty Loops and I got very interested on it... so I started using it, and a few days after that... I was making some kind of music, it was very fun combining difernt sounds to create something like... music. What I did those days wasn't something special, but I like it. A year later I started using Reason and keep on making some stuff... then I just stop making music for about... 2 years cause I got worried about what I was going to study at university and wich one I was going to choose... In 2003... one good day, Renier... a good friend of mine... got a laptop, and I told him to install Reason on it, so we did it... and I got back making music, but this time would be different. I was making some kind of electronic music using most of the time samples of real instruments like... strings... guitar... piano... clarinet... among others, and I combine them whit synth sounds. I never finished what I started, cause I didn't have the time... or I just got bored and started making something new. At the same time I was also DJing... listening to a lot of music from: UNKLE, Sasha, Deep Dish, Slacker, Planet Funk, Minilogue, Sultan, Peace Divison, Lo-Step, Matthew Dekay, Steve Porter, Meat Katie, Luke Chable, Infusion, Agent 001, Avus, James Zabiela, Tiefschwars, Loco Dice, James Holden... just to mention some of them. Getting involved with music all the time, made me take an important decision... study music! So six months after finishing school I got into an academy of music where I learned to play the piano and to understand music... At fisrt it was a little bit difficult cause, I dindn't knew anything about music... the only thing I knew was that... I could make it. But after my hands and fingers got used to the piano and learning lots of things about music... I was where I needed to be. That's a little of my story... Actually I'm making a lot a music... trying to get a lable... also DJing in parties and clubs. The end... by now.
