One can call it a “mercy of late birth” that Johannes Retschke alias Red Jones alias Fehlfrequenz was born into an artistic family in East Germany and after the collapse of the Berlin Wall was able to make use of the technical progresses introduced by the impending consumer society of the newly opened West.
His passion for electronic music began at an early age and was highly influenced by Radio Fritz in Berlin, especially shows like Loveradio or artists like Anja Schneider impressed on him and finally led him to the decks himself.
