Since the days of Hell Raiser in the Ulster hall, John has always maintained a high interest in dance music. in the early days john would buy tapes by the likes of Tizer, Eddie Wray, Trix, Pablo Gargano, Dream Frequency regularly. In 1997 he got his first set of decks, a set of Technics 1210s and a Numark mixer. By 1999 after handing a tape into Space Nightclub in Belfast, he was given the opportunity to play on the Bedroom DJ Friday night. This led to many more gigs and he was even asked to stand in when the resident dj went on holiday. He was also given the chance to play on Saturdays, Space’s main night, way back in 2001. The next step for John saw him participate in KeyMix’s DJ Academy (in association with Fergie), and after he graduated their Advanced Level DJ’ing Course the gig offers began to rise. Since then John has been travelling to America for a year where he managed to secure several gigs and been travelling and living in Australia where he also managed to secure several gigs and only returned to belfast in the middle of 2008. Since his return John has began to delve into the production side of things and has several tracks released under the guise of Brisboys ( John Manning & Ciaran Duffy) and releases on Club Azuli, Activated Recordings, Atmosfera Recordings, Dirty Deluxe Records, Stampgevaar Digital and Soultech Recordings.
