Joli Dragon

Biography of Joli Dragon

Real name /

Native from the French Riviera and fascinated by every kind of rhythmic musics, Joli Dragon bought her first turntables in 1995... Autodidact, she started performing during the “french touch” House Music period in some fashionable clubs of her region. Her taste for travelling brought her to live and to play around the world, from Ibiza to Tokyo, from Burlington to Montreal.

Her style broadened to electro-house from 2004. More requested, Joli Dragon became a resident in the biggest Chinese cities and started to fly regularly to Germany, Belgium, Mauritius Island, Morocco, Italy and Portugal for some rockin events, playing nearby guests like Alex Kid, Da Fresh, Fabrice Lig, Marshall Jefferson, Tom Novy, Azzido Da Bass, Marusha, Jean Claude Ades, Fafa Monteco or Technasia. She released her first track “Bipolaire” with Kiko (Different, Datapunk, Gigolo...), in September 2006 on the label M Convene from JD Davis, and a second LP, produced on her own : “Magic Cucumber", on the compilation “Djette” from Falco music in June 2007.

She gives her best to be loved as an artist and not as another blond female behind the decks. Her main goal is to spread her energetic and positive sound around the world and she works for this, on her own productions. Joli Dragon creates in May 2007 her own label “Bleenchic” and, with the collaboration of Muza Yakuza and other artists, releases digital house music and organizes monthly popular events in Amberg (Germany).

The tracks from Bleenchic are available in the main digital music stores, some of them are bestsellers on JunoDownload & Beatport and featured by Junodownload, Beatsdigital & Trackitdown. They are supported by artists like Ron Carroll, David Vendetta, Who Da Funk, Muttonheads, Funkstar De Luxe, Maurizio Saez, Jean Jacques Smoothie, Miguel Picasso, Roussia, Jackin' Box, Demko, The Flash Brothers, Basement Freaks, Azzido Da bass, Markus Lange, Phil Fuldner, John Acquaviva, Jay-J, Dj Ralph and many more...

Besides of deejaying and producing music, Joli Dragon works on projects for more famous labels like Dj Center (France). She also interviews the most famous worldwide artists (Bob Sinclar, Carl Cox, Avicii, Paul Van Dyk, Deadmau5, Wally Lopez, Antoine Clamaran, David Vendetta, Mark Knight, Chukie, David Morales, BT, Robbie Rivera, Roger Sanchez, Alex Gaudino, Tocadisco, Fedde Le Grand...) for ClubbingTV. To be continued…
