Heavily influenced by the sounds of Detroit, Chicago & Berlin this 26 year old has been diggin, collecting and playing records for 8 years now. From the town of Sutton Coldfield where the scene was far from desirable Shez was forced to develop his sound from the confides of his family abode.

Disco, Funk, Soul & Jazz was the foundation in the early years as his father was a DJ in his own right, and when he gave up a passionate hobby Shez took on the rains with some technics and while the earlier influences were still firmly cemented in the soul it was the love of house which really infused the passion of love for music.

Fast forward to 2011 and City Fly Records is born which was formulated naturally from the success of the City Fly parties in the Midlands which saw some of the freshest and now huge talent across the globe. Artists such as Motor City Drum Ensemble, Inland Knights, Mark E & Kez YM have all graced the City Fly decks over the years.

Shez has been a regular on the circuit playing in clubs such as Back to Basics, The Egg & Bar 54. And been flown across Europe to play in Ibiza, Barcelona & Valencia. With more European slots on the horizon and being pushed by the future FLY Agency this is only the start of this young talents journey.

Steering the City Fly Records to a near sell out first release with the Visions EP, Shez has been working on his own productions which you will see via releases with City Fly and other labels in the coming months.
