Julian Perez was born in Valencia, Spain in 1982. There he developed a love for electronic music in the early 90's. Influenced by the old school house grooves, he shaped his style with Imports from Detroit, San Francisco and Chicago. At 16, Julian started DJing as a hobby for friends, thanks to records by MK, Todd Terry, Carl Craig, Chez Damier, Paul Johnson, DJ Sneak.. It was around this time that he first stepped into the clubbing scene and started playing smaller clubs in his hometown.

2006 lead Julian to Ibiza. His fresh & elegant style quickly created an interest and he was approached by promoters from London and Ibiza who offered him an opportunity to play at many clubs there during the summer seasons such us Pacha Hotel, Space, Blu, Ushuaia, Sands, a residency at Salvation parties at Heaven in 2007, a residency in La Plage in 2009, plus various villa parties around Ibiza.

In winter seasons he has traveled to new shores, playing in Argentina, Uruguay, Brasil, Costa Rica, Panama and has been performing at festivals like ADE (Amsterdam Dance Event) and Miami for the WMC (Winter Music Conference) label showcases and parties around the conference for the last 4 years.

2010 started a new era for Julian, having played in clubs in the Canary Islands, Valencia, Barcelona, Greece, Viena, Amsterdam, London, Miami and New York. His debut track by the label Lowpitch Records, got to be in the deep house Beatport Top 50 in the first week of its release. With several productions out on labels such as Leftroom, Lowpitch, Recycle and Frankfurt based Two.Birds Records - Julian is without a doubt an artist to keep an eye on.

Artists such as Richie Hawtin, Steve Lawler, Loco Dice, Mathias Kaden, Livio & Roby have been playing his unreleased tracks by these labels during the last 2 years. His last releases on these labels have been supported by artists such as Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Raresh, DJ Sneak, Bill Patrik, Dyed Soundorom, Jamie Jones, Alexi Delano, Luciano, Dubfire, Shaun Reeves, Robert Dietz, Alex Flatner, DJ W!ld, Jacuzzy Boys, Lauhaus, Chris Wood, Andrew Grant, Varoslav, Mirco Viol, Yakine.. To name a few.

In 2012 Julian has become a part of VIVa MUSiC Crew, and is very present in the label showcases around London, Berlin, Miami, Ibiza... He has several strong releases on the label coming out in the second half of this year. In addition, Julian is current focusing on his new project- "Fathers & Sons Productions", a house/techno vinyl label with limited copies and releases expected.

Julian has built a solid reputation around the world, building a solid following of fans with his elegantly moving and absorbing groovy style. The best way to get to know and enjoy Julian is to listen to him in his own world behind the decks. His sound now goes well beyond deep and old school house grooves, pushing a unique sound that has continuously provided a soundtrack for some of the worlds best party experiences.
