In the mid nineties, Junior O was part of a minority of NYC producers ushering a new sound in the world of dance music. This sound was equal parts techno, house, different and just plain funky. His output during this time was as varied as the labels he released and licensed his music to. Labels such as AV8/BMG, Narcotic, Strictly Rhythm, Yoshitoshi, Renaissance, React, NRK, and Defected UK all wanted their part of the Junior O sound. This propelled his demand as a DJ and Junior O soon found himself with residencies at D club in Switzerland, Roxy Club in Prague and rotating some of NYC and Miami’s premiere nightclubs such as Tunnel, Sound Factory Bar, Palladium, Sound Factory, Twilo and Salvation.
