Cult illustrator Will Sweeney has teamed up with Not To Scale's Steve Scott to put together a video for the final track on the French DJ quartet's recent Manual For Successful Rioting LP, which happens to be produced by their fellow countrymen Justice.
New vid for Justice is the kind that will have grannies shaking in their petticoats and lamenting about the decline of youth.
Taking its cues from La Haine and the viscous subway scene out of Michael Haneke’s Code Unknown, a gang of kids from the suburban kids clad in '†' jackets go on a rampage through the streets beating the shit out of everything (and everyone) that gets in their way: old ladies, commuters at the train station, public property etc. The film ends with the gang on a burning car, which is the most obvious clue to what the film is referring to: the immigrant unrest in the streets of Paris in 2005.
