The moody blue atmospherics of 'Azure' remind us of the step/breakbeat/techno experiments of the Daphne man dem or Martyn on a ruffer groove, complemented by arcing synths and a tucked breaks n Bass formula. Meanwhile 'Dwell' on the flipside edges towards a lighter jungle feel with crafty breakbeat edits punctured by minimalist bass stabs reminding of breakstep records by Toastyboy or Elemental.
