Kasbah Zoo is a project born from de Duo Alex and Nic, two djs and producers with many years of experience in the night scene and with two distinct careers.

The basic idea was to abandon any ongoing project to focus their attention purely on the productions, allowing them to bring in the studio their personal experiences to experiment new sound vibes and music concept.

In a short time their tunes received the appreciation by the biggest worldwide producer and djs such as Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Carl Cox, Tiefschwarz, Mauro Picotto, Dubfire, Carlo Lio, Pirupa, Martin Eyerer, Gregor Tresher, Roger Sanchez, Axwell, Hermanez, Matt Star, D.Ramirez, Mastiksoul, Andrew Grant, Dj Chus, Kabale Und Liebe, DJ Hell, Technasia, Slam, Brothers’ Vibe, Laurent Garnier, Audiojack, The Junkies, Paco Osuna, James Teej and so on.

In the 2009 they founded Zoo:Technique Recordings where in addition to release their productions, they had the opportunity to incorporate the likes of Matt Tolfrey, Inxec, Hermanez, James Talk, Negru, David Herrero, Dj Simi and received the support of many other international artists, becoming one of the best newborn underground label.

In addition to release on their own label, Kasbah Zoo in mid-2010 released on Rawthentic Music (Label of canadian’s Carlo Lio), an EP of 3 tracks with the remixes of The Junkies, and includes “La Fameia Zigana” which became one of the best hits during the summer played and sounded in the best club all over the planet by the greatest djs in the world such as Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Dj Ralf, Carl Cox, Ricardo Villalobos and many many others.

Towards the end of 2010 with his friends Chube.Ka and the Apparell, owners of the Italian one-night Hund, decided to start a brand new label, the Babaloo Recordings. The concept itself is to create a product with a huge graphic lines, music quality and the best worldwide artists, all on vinyl records.

In the beginning of 2011 after their release on Inmotion Music, they out on International Freakshow with an EP called "Palabras" with the remixes by Christian Burkhardt and Romano Alfieri. This release become immediately an hit play and sounded by all the best djs around the world. Palabras arrive to the 40th position on the most downloaded tracks of beatport.com.
In the second half of 2011 they focused their attention to search a new sound identity, and then stopped to release new records till the end of the years, belonging to a pair of remixes on their own label Zoo:Technique.
2012 starts with a release of the famous german label Sonido, label that release among the many artists, producers like Reboot, Alexi Delano, Chris Wood, David Keno, M.in, Jacuzzi Boys and so on.
At the moment, Kasbah Zoo have some new release coming soon on label as Souvenir (Tiefschwarz ‘s label), Neim with remixes of Metrika (Crosstown Rebels) and Beep Dee (Hot Waves), Electronique Digital and others that will reveal later.
