In today’s large music world there are always new artists who draw attention on itself, because they do their thing totally different. And then something amazing sets off…..
Kaufmann und Ferdinand are a good example. They are noticed by the people who are on the dance floor more and more because they play not only good music. They spin their wicked tunes with humour and a good feeling of what to play at the right time; this will affect the vibe immediately and will make everybody dance, before and behind the decks.
Because of that, there was an article in the January edition of “Raveline” a music magazine out of Germany. In the label section of that magazine, the reactions were very positive about Kaufe Musik, one of the labels on which they release tracks, “the music is not of this time, it is the sound of the future “ they wrote .
Kaufmann und Ferdinand also enounced the launch of three new labels in 2007.
Together with der Schmeisser from Kassel , they released Kaufe Musik 001 in may 2007. Which already was a hit in pre-sale and was marked as tip in lots of dj-lists? With Kaufe Musik 002 the rest of Europe got to know the 2 producers. But with the release of „Foody Dune“ on Kaufe Musik 003, together with Soma Load from Kassel , they had their first hit.
After a successful release everybody is watching to see if you are not a one day fly, which is usually the case. With the track „Shake it“produced together with Esspapier, they proofed, to be able to live up to the expectations.
And delivered a track that was supported by well known dj’s all over the world.
In December 2007 Kaufmann und Ferdinand joint forces with Mule (Resopal) to form 42 Grad Guyz. several labels (Old Sail Rec, 9 Volt Musik) offered to release their music.

On top of it all …..

The next few months there are a couple of remixes to be released. On Old Sail Records there are 2 remixes, released as mp3 on internet; also an EP will be remixed. And a 12” is to be released after that on Old Sail Records.

Remixes for splitsound records (Italy) and 9 volt Musik, and 2 releases on Kaufe Musik.

2008 is going to be a very important year for the two partners in crime.
