Kerry Wallace

Biography of Kerry Wallace

Armed with little more than a record bag, his chefs hat and a head full of ideas Kerry Wallace arrived in London 4 years ago with the simple aim of throwing some parties and honing his skills as a Dj. Jump to the present day and he's now resident DJ-in-chief for a burgeoning party brand that has hosted packed rooms at top venues from London to Sydney via Ibiza and beyond...

From humble beginnings at the Chapel bar in Islington 'Pulp Sessions' in it's first incarnation was born. The concept; unearthing fresh dj talent and putting on quality events showcasing the latest electronic sounds in non-prententious surrounds. The parties soon gained momentum and the PS brigade presently hold residencies at two key landmarks on London's underground; The Egg club and the now legendary basement at Retox.

With a signature style of 'deep n bouncy' stripped-down house Wallace's Dj'ing has evolved as fiercely as PS itself. With an eye for picking top-notch guests the Pulp Sessions events have provided Kerry an opportunity to play alongside names such as Sven Vath, King Roc and Mike Monday, gaining plaudits for his sets along the way, more recently by the likes of Fabric's own Nathan Coles.

Not content with just penetrating the London scene Wallace went Balearic this year, performing across 'the white isle' with various residencies held notably at Ibiza's trendy hotel Esvive, Bar Itaca and Savannah.

As for the future, it's looking peachy, with Wallace intending to head back to Ibiza to focus on production not to mention a spot of global domination. So, look out for Pulp Sessions events in Australia, Dubai and Barcelona in 2009...
