Tue, 03 May 2011 / Post a commentThe NYC party crew launches their label this summer, following a successful run of Stranjjur NYC events which introduced artists to NYC for the first time, including Milton Jackson, Spencer Parker, MANIK, and many more.
This summer, the Stranjjur Imprint will be launched, headed up by New York producer/DJ/promoter Kev Obrien; alongside Andy Inelli aka Ab Logic, who will help with operations and A&R for the young imprint. Covering both the vinyl and digital markets, the new label already has material and remixes slated from hotly tipped artists such as Pezzner, MANIK, and Lula Circus; with several other artist projects scheduled for release later this year from some of the industry's brightest new talents.
The label will continue operating under the same ethos as that of the popular event series; which is to focus on introducing talented new artists to the world, while utilizing the skills of the crew's existing artist roster to help shed light to these amazing new artists' works. Past Stranjjur NYC event guests include artists such as Milton Jackson, Spencer Parker, Till von Sein, Carlo Lio, Alex Niggemann, Kruse & Nuernberg, Pezzner.

Last month at Bar 13 introduced Till Von Sein and Carlo Lio to NYC; for an event some claimed as being 'one of the year's best'.
Coming up next week is OVUM's new prodigy, Manik; followed in Dec. by Viva/Tsuba phenoms, Bearweasel, while January brings Rekids' star Spencer Parker - all at Bar 13.
