Sydney's Spank! Records chat to Kollektiv Turmstrasse about how they met, their production philosophy and the approach they took to their most recent album Rebellion Der Traumer.
Christian Hilscher and Nico Plagemann, well known as Kollektive Trumstrasse, a duo in activity from nearly a decade during which they rolled out their sound to the most diverse latitudes. Originally from Lubeck, but based in Hamburg they start their project like many others, sharing a roof and a passion. The feeling grew and the experiments as well,for these reasons they were able to go far along the way together and now they are considered the new Berlin “wonder-boys".
End 2010 they released their latest album, meanwhile they are pretty known and do many remixes for artists like silicone soul, robert babicz and more...

When Nico and Christian of Kollektiv Turmstrasse start working the crowd, it’s like somebody dumping a bucket of energy on the dance floor. For more then ten years now, these two have spread their good vibes from Reykjavik to Moscow and further to Tokyo with no plans of slowing down. Some call the duo Berlin‘s new wonder-boys, but actually they come from a small town on the Baltic Sea, and have been residing in Hamburg for some time now.
