Lisa / Kristiina’s musical career began at the age of four when she began learning classical piano. Since then she has visited many musical styles through various instruments such as the cornet, trombone, guitar, bass, drums/percussion as well as all kinds of analogue and digital inventions. She uses Logic Pro, Ableton and Cubase to make her own electronic music in combination with analogue synths and such classic effect units as the Eventide Ultra Harmonizer, Yamaha organs, Nord Lead 2, Juno… the list goes on! She has been DJing since the year of 2000 and plays one of two types of music – Good! (The other one is bad…) Some might say it is this or that but it boils down to house, electro and techno. Dancing music! She plans on making a live set of her own tunes incorporating Ableton and analogue equipment too. She has played such major events as the annual EXIT Festival in Serbia (twice), Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Disco Noir in Newcastle and all over the UK as well as her home country of Norway. She has played with DJs such as Paul Woolford, Dave Clarke, Radioactive Man, Marko Nastic, Luke Vibert, Si Begg + more Her tracks have already been played in venues such as Fabric and by DJs such as Radioactive Man and Matt Flores. She co-runs a club night with Radioactive Man called LO MOTION, which is a monthly affair at Clockwork in Islington. She plans on releasing her 1st EP very soon – watch this space! Another collaboration with Radioactive Man is also on the go, it is definitely a winner…
