Currently residing in Tokyo, Leon's DJ sets value storytelling and mood setting as the key motivation between his endless pursuit of bootleg records, vintage acid house, stripped down analogue techno, and timeless disco cuts.

Leon began his activities as a DJ in 2004 and in 2005 was picked up by photography project turned notorious Tokyo party, REDBOX, for which he now applies his passion of sharing his explorations in underground music by booking talents from all around the globe and exposing them to the Tokyo scene through multi-media showcase events.

The nature of Leon's DJ aspirations does not lie in the self promotion of playing high up on a stage. Rather, with his belief that DJs get too much credit these days for what they actually represent, he sees his role as first that of a specialist and facilitator who devotes time and effort to, not simply playing the latest music, but also to bringing back to life works of art and enabling the experience of moods and atmospheres that lead the listener's imagination in a high quality sound environment. This will always be his aspiration and whether it is reached or not, only the crowd can tell. In the meantime, Leon will continue his never ending journey through sound.

As of 2009, with his partners from REDBOX, Leon has founded the SkinniPants bespoke fashion label and a flagship store in Tokyo with the mission of creating Japan's leading creative outlet for in-house designed and produced on demand one-of-a-kind clothing and accessories.
