We just released a new remix on Polytechnic Records and we tought it would be the best time to uptdate you with our latest release since the summer.

Pantoone - Ojos Negros (Les Limaces Remix)

Here's a few words from Polytechnic:
Pantoone gives us a dark, deep, tech-house bomb with Ojos Negros Minimal inspired, glitchy beats start off this churner that builds with strong progressive elements. Brilliant production and quality sounds abound and will keep any floors attention. Smashing! First up on remix duties, Les Limaces. With nice use of some of the original elements they plunge this track head-on for the Progressive House floors and do a stunning job of it. A grinding melody line with plenty of portamento used very well keep the listener enthralled. Great peak-time stuff. Next up is the wicked remix by Moduleight. Adding a bit of bounce to the ounce, keeping it techy with a smattering of progressiveness this remix turns in a sneaky heavy weight. Aces! Final remix is by Van Did who for-goes the progressive path and takes the track back into the Techno realm. Going toward the minimal side of it with plenty of warped goodness. Great way to end the release. An excellent remix package of Spanish producers Lefrenk tracks starts off with man of the moment Oliver Schories. With releases on Ostwind, Parquet and Musik gewinnt Freunde, the Hamburg based Oliver Schories is creating a massive fan base; be it studio work or his impressive DJ sets. His remix is an excellently subtle groover, deep and hypnotic, yet full of layers of sounds and oozes coolness. Canadian PFL label favourites Les Limaces take to the helm and their remix delivers a punchy and energetic, slightly dark. Its packed with melody, whilst haunting and mysterious vibes flow throughout. Changing the vibe is Makson. A unique Ukrainian composer, he loves to create and surprise by his fantasy and skill, and his mix blends melodies of techno with chilled down-tempo flavours. We stay in the Ukraine for our next remix, as Mode B from Klangwelt take us firmly back to the dancefloor, with big a grinding bassline washing over a the layers of sounds, key changing as they go, whilst retaining a completely underground vibe. Fans of these guys include Laurent Garnier and Max Cooper, its easy to see why when you check their remix. Over to Greece as LKS take control. A wondrous techno journey, wrapped in a soundscape of tinkling melodics and phat bassline. A great combination for the dance floor. Completing the package is VK. He is the owner of Trust Radio in Greece, as well as being a remixer and sound engineer. the emphasis here is keeping it deep as the delcate sounds fly accross the alluring bass. A great selection of mixes for many a DJ..

RELEASE DETAILS

Cid Inc is one of the leading lights of the progressive techno scene and with good reason: his releases set the standard both in studio expertise and musical creativity. The Finnish DJ and producer receives support from all over the world, and following two remixes for Flow Vinyl, it was only a matter of time before he signed original tracks to the label.

The first of these, ‘Divine’, is trademark Cid Inc with a pulsating rhythm and intricate percussion, while melodic keyboards and jazzy, almost psychedelic, notes float over the top. Every sound is perfectly placed in a Cid Inc track, and ‘Divine’ lives up to its name with a wonderful sense of light and space. The remixes are equally impressive with Hernan Cattaneo and Soundexile from Buenos Aires collaborating to create a superb progressive house reworking. The second remix, meanwhile, sees Montreal-based duo Les Limaces team up with Flow Vinyl founder Pena for a deep tech adventure that pushes the groove to the forefront. Their version has deliciously warm and sensual feel to it.

Completing the package is a second Cid Inc original, ‘Who We Are’, where he gets back to his roots and delivers a driving acid house excursion that destined to rock the dancefloor. A high quality release throughout full of energy and imagination.

To say that Les Limaces have been busy for the past year would be a massive understatement. When they were not getting praise, radio and television airplay from influent music critic Claude Rajotte, they were probably busy rocking thousands of dancers at events and festivals, releasing EPs, tracks and remixes on various labels like Tasty Bytes Records, System Recordings, Re:Beat, PFL Records and Quadbyte Records.... or working on a brand new full-lenght album named Smoked Beat which we are really happy to present you today.

They have perfected their craft and are taking you along for another melodic journey; sometimes moodier and smoother, sometimes more bouncy and driving, but always perfectly produced and definetly tasty.

To celebrate the launch of the 2nd album of Les Limaces, "Smoked beat", Skyhook and Akarien invite you to celebrate with them at Full Circle, an "all night" event at Espace Reunion! Whether to signify the end of a life cycle, the formation of a new circle of friends or simply to dance to the repetitive round rhythms of electronic music, Full Circle is definitely this winters party for 2012.

To bring together the various production teams in the local underground scene, we decided to gather under one roof, an ambassador of each electronic cliques. DJs and Live acts will follow one another throughout the night to bring you todays cutting-edge electro-music. More than a headliner, DJ Pena, of Portuguese origin and founder of Flow Records, will be at the decks, spinning progressive techno for a two hours massive performance.
