...at the lake of constance, leyk grew up in a quite protected and musical environment, playing the piano and the double bass besides singing in the local church choir. since 1994 he has been a native berliner.
after getting his decks in 1999, he first started tingeling through the local berliner bar scene as dj "like". things went well, so "like" made his first club appearance at the globus/tresor by the end of 2002.
in 2003 leyk and his dj-partner wimpy successfully established a regular party at globus/tresor called "woitek&leyk". being homeless, after the tresor..
