At only 22 years of age it’s clear to see Dublin born Dj/Producer Lorcan Mak has a bright future ahead of him. Lorcan’s love for music began at a very early age, experimenting with many musical instruments as a child and eventually choosing the computer as his tool to create music. Lorcan has been Djing since the age of 13 and first took an interest in production at the age of 15. His broad taste in music has been a key influence in his DJing, Productions and the inspiration behind his unique sound.

So far Lorcan has already played to crowds exceeding 15,000 as one of the headlining acts at the XBOX Live stage in 2009 & Nokia Live stage in 2010 at Ireland’s “Oxegen Festival” and at the “Little Big Tent” at “Electric Picnic Festival” alongside Mr Scruff, Jackbeats and Mixhell. His unique and refreshing approach to producing house music and his highly energetic and memorable dj sets have seen him headline at gigs and events all over the world, from New York to London, Paris to Barcelona, even as far as Bangkok.

Lorcan was awarded "Best Up & Coming DJ" at the 2010 Irish Dance Music Awards. His tracks and remixes have been championed by of some of the scenes biggest dj’s including Laidback Luke, Laurent Garnier, Sinden, Bart B More, Congorock & Brodinski to name just a few. Having released a string of well received tracks and remixes on labels such as; Kitsune, Southern Fried Records, Mixmash, Anabatic & Midnight Munchies and work already underway on his own label “Stay Hungry Records”, you can expect to hear a lot more from Lorcan Mak in the near future!
