Biography of Luigi Rodriguez


Luigi Rodriguez is a Miami Based DJ/ Producer/ Sound Engineer. His mixing style is described as dark funk, percussive sound with eclectic melodies and tech fueled rhythms. In 2001 Luigi began his artistic career and is recognized as the fastest rising performer and one of the most respected by his peers in the Puerto Rico Electronic Music Scene. FRIDAY MASS, his 2007 residency at world renown Club Ku-Lounge allowed him to become a top act in most Electronic Music Events throughout the country as well as several cities across the US and the Caribbean doing opening sets from the likes of Paul van Dyk, The Prodigy, Underworld, Sasha, Digweed, Loco Dice, Nic Fanciulli, Just to name . With an extensive percussionist background and going back to his early days as a live performer in 2006 Production starts to take a big part of the direction headed. This allowed him to briskly release records throughout the globe. 2010 producing for labels like Nervous, etc. You can obtain Luigi's releases on all major digital music retailers worldwide. Luigi became the most influential character to a new generation of artist in PR. Now in Miami Luigi has been Playing consistently playing some of the most exclusive events, clubs, hotels and starting 2011 resident of the world know Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach, bringing a new underground sound to a mainly mainstream city. Now developed as a solid Tech House groover never forgetting his true percussive roots allowing every performance to be unique. Upcoming releases from collaborations along with solo projects have a spark that will shine on for many years to come.
