One-half of the DJ duo KASSETTE BOYS, Ferri Borbás aka SUPERLOVER is widely known as M_FERRI.
His early productions revealed the influences of the rough, industrial and dark sounding techno sound brought to Berlin by artists like Jeff Mills, Laurent Garnier and Joey Beltram.
Simple, radical sounding and functional: tracks like his "Tanzgenerator" or "Open the Watergate" shaped this aesthetic into a trademark.
With his latest SUPERLOVER project he makes a slight stylistic shift: instead of a reduced and purely functional sound characteristic of his releases under the moniker “M_Ferri,” Superlover presents a more emotional, energetic mix of warm Rhodes piano samples and string synths.
