Fri, 17 May 2013 / Post a commentLondon techno producer Ore's dubby, slightly swung "Rise" - a tune released last month on the man's State EP for Civil - has received the remix treatment courtesy of Manni Dee. In the capable hands of the producer, the heavy-handed original is stretched out to nine minutes with its pummeling back-room techno bookended by moments of chilly abstraction.

Fri, 25 Jan 2013 / Post a commentManni Dee has put his spin on fellow Brighton producer and singer Yumi and the Weather's heavily melodic vocal-pop tune "Not Again," turning the bass up to 11 and looping his own aquatic beatwork enough times to stretch out the music an extra two minutes. He also carefully mellowed out the melody of the original, leaving us with a subtly driving and relaxed vibe.
