Settled in Copenhagen but born in Sweden, Martinez represents an icon of European electronic music. In his numerous EPs and remixes he has always preferred to combine sounds belonging to different genres in order to create original tracks worthy of note.
We spoke to Martinez about his plans for a new artist album at the end of the year, his remixes for Cinematique and Inmotion Music next month, as well as a very special promo mix that he calls a one hour version from one of his long club sets..

Martin Swanstein, better known as Martinez, is a Swedish/Danish House Music & Techno DJ/Producer currently based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Nowadays, he is well known for his releases on, Moon Harbour, Cadenza, Lomidhigh, Love letters from Oslo and La Pena. Martinez first release, that kick started his carrier in 2000, was his "Laidback Grooves EP" on the notorious chicago based Deep-House label Guidance Recordings. Every since's, he's been a common figure on the worldwide Deep/Tech-House scene.
