Fri, 28 Jan 2011 / Post a commentSwedish producer Materia is more known for his drum'n'bass productions, especially his remix of Boom Jinx for Distinctive, but his house productions are getting more and more attention these days. With several successful releases on Swedish PR Records, "Materia & Shift Lock - Peak" entering the Swedish Dance Charts, and several more signings to other labels we are sure to see more of Materia in the house world. His debut on Lowbit consists of 2 tracks - Response and Incognito.
"Response" starts of immediately with an electro inspired bassline that evolves through the entire track and continuously adding elements for a very effective buildup. This is a full energy dance floor track.
"Incognito" is a bit more laidback compared to "Response" and with its Swedish spoken vocals and swelling pads, this is hitting the more hypnotic vibe.
