Matt resides in Sydney Australia, but his dj sets are more associated with the forward thinking sounds from Atlanta's and Melbourne's underground community. This connection was first cemented when he heard for the first time Habersham & Numinous's "Mistercool" on Phil K's seminal Balance 004 cd. From there, the melbourne connection was created when Matt contacted Darius Bassiray[MELB](Darkbeat & Rollin Connection fame) after hearing his track Lorenzo which was remixed funnily enough by Habersham. Matt discovered that there was a scene in Australia that was pushing this sound, and Darius's party Darkbeat was where it was at.


Over the years, Matt has remained true to this sound which can be described as slightly twisted and deep but with a great underlying groove. In that period of time artists which have moulded his taste in music, have also become good friends who have one thing in common, to push no nonsense intelligent dance music to the greater dance community. Such artists include Habersham, Absence of Essence & Rob Dowell all hailing from Atlanta

Since 2006, Matt has played across a number of venues both In Sydney and Melbourne including Brown Alley [MELB], Civic Hotel [SYD], & Chinese Laundry [SYD]. During that time became resident for well respected Sydney underground institution Loose Kaboose during its first year running. Matt has also had a number of guest appearances on proton radio which include: B-sides, Blueprint & Essentia.

In 2011, Matt has become the official Australian resident for Atlanta based event Wiggle Factor. This event is co-run by Delic (Dee Washington & Darius Kohanim) & Habersham. In this role, Matt will provide an integral part in pushing the wiggle factor sound to the wider dance community through regular guest appearances on wiggle factor's proton radio show and guest spots at future parties in the US
