Already receiving big support from Peter Van Hoesen, Norman Nodge, Marcel Fengler, Perc, Brendon Moeller, Len Faki, Laurent Garnier and more. Following the recent success of his Starting Over EP on Belgian tastemakers Curle, Matt heads home to Off-key to release his strongest work to date.
First track 'Bloom' whispers sweet nothings in your ears while shimmering synths caress your neck and skipping percussion dances around your groin. Unable to resist, you let yourself go and 'Without Warning' spikes your drink, drags you into a filthy warehouse rave and leaves you grinning maniacally under a flickering strobe light.

I've got a busy start to the year with a new 3 track EP and limited edition live CD released through the Belgian label Curle Recordings.

The 'Starting Over EP' is a 3 tracker which is getting support from a wide variety of DJ's including Marcel Dettmann, Martyn, Richie Hawtin, Efdemin, Laurent Garnier, Santiago Salazar, Deetron, Tama Sumo, Perc, Dan Curtin and many more. It will be released on 31st January and is distributed by N.E.W.S.

Together with this EP, Curle will also release the limited Curle-J01CD in Japan. A live set recorded by myself in London during December 2010 using Ableton Live, Akai APC40, Jomox XBase 999 and Moog Voyager. Only 100 copies were made and they will only be available through Disk Union in Japan, accompanied by some nice hand-numbered artwork.
You can pre-order Curle-J01CD through this link, if you speak Japanese! Tracklist for the CD is as follows:

1. No Reason

2. Koh Bida

3. Blackwood Freestyle

4. Starting Over

5. Hidden High

6. Untitled

7. The Gauntlet

8. Into The Red

9. End Of The Beginning

For a chance to win a copy of the CD, along with a Curle bag and Curle compilation, visit their website and enter the competition.

One last thing - I'll be playing live @ Tresor, Berlin on April 2nd. More details soon...

Here's a live recording I made when I played Bootshaus in Cologne on 11th Feb....
It's only the second half of the set as the first half didn't come out for some reason. It was recoded through a stereo microphone so it's pretty raw sounding but I like the energy of it.

It's about 62 Mb and is encoded at 320 kbps. You can download it from Soundcloud or direct from my site.

I'll be playing live in London as part of an Off-key party with DJ Pete & sleeparchive on 26th March. You can read more details and purchase advance tickets from Resident Advisor.

Cheers,
Matt
