darkaudio (also known as DA) is an audio hosting and social networking site for DJ's.
DA was founded in 2006 by Matt Osborne and Will Usher. The site was initially created as a portal to store and share our their own mixes, but it was soon made freely available for other DJ's to use. In November 2008 v2.0 was launched with new functionality and features.
There are regular DA events held in London. The first DA event was in January 2009. DJ's from the site are booked to play at the events giving them a chance to meet other users and people from the industry.
DA events are sponsored by many of the industries leading companies including; Stanton DJ & Funktion One Soundsytems.
