Finally got 'round to recording a new DJ mix. A stack of 12"es, 2 decks and a good old Rodec mixer. It's the simple things in life that make us happy.

Added some dates and small preview, while working on a couple EPs that are planned to come out in the near future. I'll keep you posted. In the meanwhile, enjoy life and the music.

Hi there! Just felt like sharing with you guys that I'll be joining Marcin Czubala at SQ Club on the 11th of February as part of the Mobilee Back2Back Tour. In case you're wandering what I'll be doing there: I'll be singing. Live. Without autotune ;-) Full line up includes Johnny D and Ray Okpara, so ehm, you'll find me on the dancefloor all night for sure :-)

Hi! I'll be playing in Berlin for the very first time tonight. So if you haven't decided where to go yet, just come over, say hi and make yourself comfortable!

As you might have read in the Mobilee christmas edition, a while ago Marcin Czubala invited me to do a track together, so we did. The result of this pleasant colaboration will be featured on Marcin's Back to Back compilation for Mobilee records, which I'm really excited about! I must say I really enjoyed working together with a producer of this level, both musically and technically. Who knows what the future might bring. I for one am looking forward to it, that's for sure.

Finally the Cabaret Modulaire 12" is available on Juno/Decks/Hardwax/... The EP features 3 deep/dub/detroitesque tracks called Prelude, Double Helix and Kopdöb. Don't expect stampedes or bombastic harmonious elaborations, but bass line grooves and blue note toppings. First time I used both bass guitar and flute in my productions, rather than off the record. (too bad though I didn't choose the trumpet or the saxophone back then ;-)
Here's some of the great supportive feedback the record already received from DJ/Producers around the globe:

Dan Drastic (Moon Harbour // Distillery)
Wow. I love Prelude

Marcin Czubala (Mobilee / 8bit)
Prelude track is really good!

Konrad Black (Wagon Repair // Panorama Bar/ Watergate)
I like Kopdöb best!

Franco Bianco (Dilek Records, Multivitamins, Hypercolour, Unfoundsound)
Kopdob is wonderful! :) Others are also very nice tracks. Thanks for the music! :)

Dave Fields (Radio Power FM // Ireland) (/ // Various)
Really digging "Prelude" & "Double Helix" from this package, the former is a lovely detroity trip, with a lovely bassline to keep things interesting, awesome work, the latter "double helix" has some nice old school house vibe, the sample works really well...

Someone Else (foundsound records)
i like Kopdöb // Original Mix

Ken Ishii (70 Drums // Various)
Prelude is nice and unique.

Blake Baxter (Mix Records Detroit , Mix Media the sound republic Detroit // Tresor Berlin) on Kopdöb:
Nice positive vibe groovin

Patrick Bateman (Tic Tac Toe / Connect Four Records // Culture Box)
Kopdöb is a cool track, laid back! Nice...

Half Stereo (HalfStereo // Dinamo.fm)
I may chart prelude. I loved it! Will play it so much this summer. Nice EP.

Juliet Sikora (Kittball Records // europe)
Double Helix is the one for me...more for the beachpartys dj sets....

Jonas Wahrlich (Eminor / DER HUT // PLUX)
Kopdöb is great! Very solid dubby stuff!

Laurent Garnier (pias -innervision -crosstown rebels -f Comm // everywhere)
Very old school Detroit House style
Really like this!

Dave Ellesmere (intacto, area remote, thirtyonetwenty, connaisseur, rekids // studio80,watergate,arena, klick klack)
Lovely tunes here ...Nice vibe and atmospheres throughout ...

Hi, I've just finished recording the third of series of more deep and dub oriented house tracks (finally!). These first three tracks will appear on Morse records before summer, hopefully by the end of May. If you'd like to have a listen, you can do so via soundcloud. Hope you'll enjoy it.

If you'd like to hear the other 2 tracks, here's the link to the set of all three of them.
