Born and Raised in Detroit, Michael was involved in various bands and musical projects until discovering electronic music in the early/mid 90's. Being in Detroit, Michael took advantage of being near the epicenter of techno and sought out to learn as much as he could about the music. After moving back to the area during college, Michael took a job at the world renown Record Time and thus his complete immersion into electronic music was complete. From there he then cut his teeth in the Detroit Underground playing alongside local heroes, Eric Cloutier, Greg Mudge, Christian Bloch and Jason Kendi..
