About Mike Detloff
Mike Detloff is the definitive rule breaking DJ and producer, quickly receiving recognition as a highly respected talent and constantly questioned for playing "outside the lines". With technical prowess and an ear for big tunes, Mike is forging a solid career as an up and coming DJ setting his sights on International venues and parties. As a producer, he is forming the foundation for a new creative musical outlet, Technical Music, with a mission to "do something positive" alongside his respected peers.

THE HISTORY

Mike has been an avid music fan nearly all of his life. A fan of all styles and sounds from Brazilian Raw beats to Acid house to West Coast Jazz to Classic Rock. Coming from such a diverse musical background, Mike's influences range from classic flavors such as The Furious Five, Newcleus, and Depeche Mode to more modern sounds like Nathan Fake, Trentemoller, Steve Lawler and Remo. The perveyor of a dark and sexy more minimally minded style, Mike’s sound blends deep techy house and minimal techno with a progressive acid-electro tinge. Mike started out playing mainstream Top 40 in many of the smaller local spots but, having a love for house music, transitioned into the underground and quickly moved up the club scene ladder. With one of the hottest upcoming parties to hit the club scene, London Nights and various other new projects in the work, Mike is creating his signature sound and gearing up to bring that sound to the hottest dance-floors.
