- Long Biography -

As a DJ Mikey Shanley has attracted residencies in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Key West and currently Miami Beach. In 2009 He was selected for the second year in a row as a finalist (one of nine DJ's out of many in South Florida) to spin at Gryphon Nightclub for the New Times Summer Spin Series, secured a weekly Monday night at Black Sheep Lounge in South Beach and is currently producing his first EP using Pro Tools in his home studio.

2008 blessed Mikey with a Friday night, main room, DJ residency at Voodoo Bar in South Beach and a strong press buzz in both Miami & Pittsburgh publications due to being a finalist (one of six) in the New Times DJ Spinoff 2008; held in the main room of Space Nightclub (video above). In the Month of August he had 4 different mentions in 4 different newspapers, one making front page headlines and one being a feature article that ran the entire month.

Mikey Shanley recently graduated from Berklee with a Gold Certificate in Music Business and sub focus on Pro Tools production. He is a third generation Dj in his family with radio and touring experience. His top markets include the North East and South East of the United States. Mikey has played along side some of America's top EDM DJ's including but not limited to Donald Glaude, DJ Irene and DJ Icey to name a few. He regards these heavy hitters as main influences on his sounds and charismatic energy. As a producer his influences include BT, DJ Dan and Fat Boy Slim.
